  • Cheap garage simulator

Hi, brand new to the forum from London Ontario Canada. Looking for advice on an affordable way to have a bit of a simulator in the garage. Will just have a space heater so I won't be leaving equipment in there. I have turf and a good net, won't be doing a projection screen but wanting to hook a launch monitor up to my laptop and just use that.

Not looking for crazy good accuracy just wanting to keep swinging in the winter but make it a bit more like a real game. I have room for a full swing with driver, have been hitting balls the past few days with this current setup and it's working really well. Any advice is appreciated! Picture attached

I have gotten more than my money's worth out of my Optishot2. I also have had better luck than others report with getting it to read well. I have tuned my setup, have clubs it picks up well, have directed lighting and changed out the turf too. I still enjoy it.

With all that said, I am now waiting for my SkyTrak order to ship. So I am considering the OptiShot2 a gateway drug... (Ichi-go ichi-e)

Just a little update, the new pad came in yesterday and it works great so far. I'm shining a lamp on the pad which seems to be working well also. I raised my turf up to compensate for the height difference as well. Everyday I seem to tweak something else to make it a little bit better.
