Paint garage sim shop black?

I’m putting a golf sim in my shop. Don’t have an enclosure, and was wondering if I should paint the walls black everywhere, or maybe just within the first 10 feet or so out from the impact screen? I’ve heard this helps the image

If you want to try it, I might suggest getting black fabric and hanging it instead of painting. Should help at least a little bit with echo reduction, too. Just a thought.

Good idea that I did not think of. Thanks! Where is a good place to look for those? Just a quick google search and those aren’t too cheap for the amount of space I would be filling...

I think most people including me when with Commando cloth. https://www.rosebrand.com/subcategor...h-duvetyn.aspx. You will have to find a way to attach it or some company offer curtains of the same material.

Honestly I went cheap and just got some $10 blankets from Walmart. I figured if I hated them I'd use them for something else and buy something better.

My cheap blankets are still hanging.
