  • New build starting

Hey all I am about to start my buildout this next week. My room is 14'3" wide and goes from 9' to 11' tall with slopes on each of the walls. I am thinking of using angle iron on the side of the walls to hold the screen but I need advice on how to do the top. I would do angle iron there but where I would be able to mount it the ceiling is 10.5' which is pretty far above where the screen would be.

how should I support the top and not have sag in the screen with it being wider than 10'?

Mount the angle iron to the ceiling and just use longer bungee cords, pretty much what i did. I believe I criss crossed bungees from same screen eyelet to different place on the angle iron in about 4 places. worked great.

Another option is to use one long bungee cord across the whole width. Thread it alternately through the angle iron and screen eyelets and adjust the length to adjust the tension. You can knot it to the angle iron at one end and use a tarp clip at the other to hold it in place (grip the tarp clip directly onto the bungee cord where it threads through the angle iron). To adjust the tension just release the tarp clip and pull/release the cord until happy, then reclip.
