Off Center Hitting Area

Still planning the build as my house is built. I’ve settled with the fact that I’ll have to hit off center (10’9” wide) and am curious others thoughts on how it feels to hit off center?

ideally I want as immersive of a space as possible, but also debating just using a net and a monitor if the off center thing is a big complaint. Appreciate your insight!

Doesn't really matter if your sim program allows you to specify distances in your setup. As an example in Foresight FR1 you can use sim setup to specify offset, distance to screen, distance to launch monitor etc. I would think other sim programs have the same ability.

It really isn't a big deal. You're looking down at the ball while you hit anyway. I certainly wouldn't pass up on a projector and screen just because of that. The only issue is having any lefthanded players in there.

E6 has offset feature. So it looks like the ball and line of the shot are straight in front of you. I guess that other software probably has the same.

Yeah the LH/RH is a small issue because my bro-in-law is a lefty and my daughter seems to be too. I’ll either go GC2 or Eye XO on a slide. Figure I’ll setup some sort of pulley system to move back and forth (maybe someday I’ll get bored and get some automated movement with a push button haha). Am I right in my research to assume I’ll hit about 6’6” from the wall?
