Hi, has anyone put a protective cage over their ceiling mounted projector. My projector will be over my head slightly forward and is a low profile projector. I went with the optoma gt 1080hdr. I’m not sure if it is necessary but was looking for guidance if anyone has protected their ceiling projector. I’m not overly concerned with golf clubs hitting it but would feel better knowing that if a stray ball or club was to hit it the cage would protect. I looked at large metal baskets at Amazon figuring that I need3d a large basket that is 13l x 12w x 8 inches high. There was one that met this requirement and I could easily cut the wire in front of the lens. Just looking for advice and id3as. My ceiling is approximately 9 feet high.
