    Sound Bar Behind Screen?

Anybody ever used a sound bar behind the hitting screen for audio? Safely... :-)

Curious to know for those that use the room for watching movies/sports as well as a SIM. What have you used for audio? And placement?

    I’m working my sound/speaker layout now for a 20’ x 16’ space with 10’4” ceilings. Any recommendations?

I have a cheap sound bar mounted directly above and centered on my screen. Ceilings are 9' and screen frame is about 8.5' so fits nicely in the gap. My buddies are nervous about hitting it but no one has yet so not sure about bounce back or anything. We hit from just under 8 feet away and most shots don't even get halfway up the screen.

    Works excellent for watching movies/sports.

Man that scares me. Lol. One perfect shot and bye bye sound bar. But I do like the idea of it being centered on the screen facing the hitting area.

I have a sound at behind my screen. I have 2ft from screen to wall so there’s no chance of hitting it. Sounds good and less disorientation than sound from the side when watching tv/sports.

I put a pair of old tower speakers I was not using any longer behind the screen - works great. I don't really notice any sort of distortion at all.
