Did you have to tilt the projector up slightly to deal with the vertical offset and the enclosure depth?

im putting together a similar setup, and want to go with an Optoma projector, but the 17” vertical offset at 8’ back would interfere with the enclosure roof. Any details or measurements about the projector placement would be helpful!

Yes I did tilt the projector up slightly. I believe the offset for me was 14”

Love the sim room; great work. I have similar dimensions in my basement, and have been looking for support in modifying the joists to add more clearance. I saw you added a couple of pictures to the post. Do you have any additional before/after photos of the ceiling, and potentially additional detail that you can provide on the work you did? I, unfortunately, do not have the skillset to pull this off myself; and have been looking for a contractor to help me with 0 luck.

Any additional detail, photos, etc. that you can provide would be much appreciated!! Awesome work.
