  • Photos from the Sim build

Once again, thank you to everyone for all the help when putting this together. I used many threads here for advice and am very happy with the results.

I went with a QED and a 14'x9' screen. This is set up at my office. I usually turn out all the lights, but then the pictures don't look great. I tried with the lights on, and it doesn't look as good either.

Anyway, I'm happy to answer any questions I can, and am always open to suggestions!

Looks great! No side netting though for shanks (couldn’t tell from the pic if you had anything). Also what kind of computer are you using (eg desktop? laptop? Specs?). But looks really good.

Thank you. There is netting around the frame, under the fabric. I have hit some pretty ugly shots and they always seem to make it into the cage. Computer is a powerful desktop. Not too sure on the specs but went to the computer store here and one of the guys built me one for a great price.

Looks great and very spacious setup!

What pictures are you talking about? The video of the club coming through the ball? If so, you could try adding a powerful LED spotlight and turning off the rest of the lights or medium light in the room. For my setup (with EYE XO), it's in my garage and i have some lights on and turn on a spotlight and it picks up the wedge shots better and the video and snapshot of the ball at impact looks good. When the spotlight is off, the video and snapshot is darker and the wedges get more no-reads.

Thank you. I was referring to taking the photos. Was using my iPhone and low light photos aren’t great.

I purchased an led stage spotlight off Amazon and it works great. A small circle shines in the mat. I have noticed fewer misreads when it is on

I am not a projector expert, and not sure what projector you are using but it seems there is still a decent amount of light getting in through the windows. Maybe try blacking those out too.

Yup good call. Hang some blackout curtains so you can easily slide them open when you aren't using the sim. Close them when you are playing and the image will pop even more with the room blacked out. Setup looks awesome! If that were my office the only work I'd be getting done would be on my golf game lol.

Good idea. I have some extra fabric from the enclosure that I was planning and cutting and putting behind me for the cameras.

Winter time gets dark early here, so an end of the day round is pretty dark.

Looks very good! You're making me want to turn my garage into my office so I can always hit a few shots What mats are you using in your setup?
