  • Sim build 2 lol

I have been asked by a few people about the pricing of the setup. Just understand this could of been done much cheaper or more expensive. I wanted the best visual experience possible. I will upgrade from the mevo plus in due time...so here goes.

    Projector is a benqlk953st $4999
    Projector mount $65
    Mevo plus $2000,
Premium impact screen $950 (Carls place)
Putting elite turf (9-10 stimp) $729 turf factory direct, $1.99 sq ft ($100 was for home shipping, could of sent to business for free) the turf covers a 15'x21' area.
Hitting strip is a 12"x24" divot action insert. I paid $129. It works great. It doesn't hurt my wrists with extended use. It may not feel like real grass but none of them really do.
$400 on all of the wood I needed to frame out the floor, and cover it with some 1/2" 8'x4' sheets of mdf $21/sheet.
$100 for the EMT frame kit.
$30 or so for the EMT pipe.
I have two nets. One goes around the entire setup (behind the screen (for extra support of the screen to 5' out past the screen. I then have another net that goes over the top and down the back behind the screen. 1st net was $139, second net was $149.
    2 putting cups $12.88
2 fishing rod racks to hold my clubs $66 for 32 clubs. (Didnt want to wear my bag out, plus easier to quickly access clubs)
    Ball bungies 100 for $22
    2 elp usb cameras (120fps @720p) $140
    25000mAh battery pack $37
    16' 8k hdmi cable (overkill lol) $35
    20' 4k hdmi cable $20
2 Lights above hitting area $64

I hope this helps anyone looking. This is my second build lol first one was with an ernest sports piece of shit.

Pretty slick to embed the control box into the floor. Very nice setup.

How do you like the Turf Factory Direct putting surface?

Nice setup! How are the rod holders working out for you? Seems like a great idea. Do you have them anchored to the wall? Do you find the clubs are pretty stable in them?
