Custom Build Complete! (Foresight + ProPutt)

After way too much planning (and way too much spending), I am excited to say my simulator build is complete!

I want to compliment ProPutt Systems for working with me to get the putting green / hitting mat potion just right. Their design team worked with me on numerous back-and-forth emails getting everything figured out. And their production team is amazing. We field measured everything to the nearest 1/4" and they got it PERFECT. The putting green base fit exactly and the turn on top does as well. Really impressive.

Everything else came from and was installed by Foresight Sports. I worked with their design team on not only the nuts & bolts of a simulator, but figuring out the proper materials, where to use curtains vs carpet pads, etc. They flew their installation team out to our house and absolutely NAILED the install. They were sure to involve me with any little decisions along the way and the quality of their work is top notch.

As for the launch monitor, I love the GCQuad. I started the simulator journey by choosing which launch monitor (and available software) I wanted. The GCQuad's ability to connect via it's own Wifi, combined with insane accuracy and the ease of portability made it my number one pick. When the ability to play TGC2019 came out a few months ago the decision was made. I can confirm TGC works perfectly, but so far I am really enjoying FSX.

Lastly I want to thank this forum for existing. I did so much research, reading and listening to people with real life experience and advice.

That looks amazing. Is there enough room for your feet when hitting a driver? It looks like the turf cutoff is pretty close to the hitting spot. Maybe it just looks that way in the picture.

I was wondering the same, looks like there's not much room on that side, could be just due to picture maybe.

I thought JNPG was no longer compatible?

Maybe there's enough room for the OP but it looks like there's not enough room for many other people. I wouldn't be able to hit from there. That's for sure. Nice sim regardless, OP. Looks really polished.

The picture makes it look tighter than it is in person, but I probably cut it too tight. I wish I had left another 12” of room or so. It fits my swing just right, but some guests have had their heels on the fringe.

What are the overall dimensions of this? Width and tee to screen specifically.

                  Looks really nice!

As a few people noted above, the stance area looked a little tight. I decided to measure the final product vs. the plans and found the curve to be off by 14"(!). I contacted ProPutt and they could not have been more professional. They re-built the base to the proper dimension and sent a brand new piece of putting turf. They even offered to pay a local carper company to do the install. HUGE props to the group at ProPutt. As you can see, the final build looks great and provide way more room for a comfortable stance.
