Just wanted to get yalls advice. Possibly planning on moving my golf sim to a downstairs room measuring 17x14x9. I’m 5’10 with an average plane swing. Have others found this to be acceptable? I’d be using an overhead camera system and id like be the only one playing it. Thanks in advance

Should be fine in ab offset position, but what is your ceiling height. Might be worth testing it with your driver to see and given your dimensions I would try both ways to see which dimension you prefer to be hitting towards, as either could work just you will be getting closer to screen.

What do you think is needed to not be offset? Assuming you are referring ot the 14 foot width. I am contemplating building from scratch a 15x20x10 internal room. I'd go wider but have some setback issues I'm contending with. I'd like to be centered if possible but small offset isnt end of world as no lefty's and plan on GCQ.

ceiling height is 9 feet exactly. Which was probably my biggest concern.Originally posted by Dax View PostShould be fine in ab offset position, but what is your ceiling height. I'm 6'3 and swing in 9' ceiling height with no problems. Occasionally I might scrape the ceiling when trying to pull off a cut with the driver, but its no biggie imo. That said, I do wish I had an extra foot of height, especially for guests who don't hit the ceiling but instead struggle with indoor swing syndrome. Best suggestion is to get down there and start swinging the big dog to see how it feels and if it will work for you.
