  • Starting my garage build

I’m putting a sim in my garage and this is progress so far. Had to lift part of ceiling so no issues with driver. I’m using sound insulation and boards and these will then be clad with acoustic panels. Very keen to dampen sound as much as possible. The screen will be the par2pro electric stealth screen. And by the way I’m having a garage door fitted and the screen will drop in front of this! Dimensions 11ft wide x 10ft high x 16ft long

I’m guessing you’re in the UK from the car plates?
I did similar - putting a Pa2Pro stealth in front of my garage door. Works really well.

    Link here if you’re interested...
I’ve been golfing in my garage for a little over 4 and a half years. In this time I’ve been continually evolving my setup - with this being the third “restart”. I have 2 other build threads kicking about on this site. My V2 build thread can be found here: https://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum/build-your

      Hi

Yes I’m in uk. I have an outside setup but wanted an indoor one too. Thanks for the link to your post I read it all with interest and very helpful. I’m using acoustic foam panels as a sound and drapes on right side to catch any shanks although I’m low handicap so have very few. The bit I’m not sure how will work out is flooring and driving car in over the putting surface but a few people have said artificial turf is very durable.

I roll mine up if I want the car in. I’d be worried about the dirt from my tyres getting into the turf... then transferring to the ball... which in turn transfers it to the screen. A white screen with dirty marks won’t look nice!
Working...
