I've been working on an outdoor simulator set up -- under a covered patio. I'll need to be able to take down the projector/laptop during cold season. I have some pictures/list of things on a PDF. See link. I have tarps from Covers and All for the "walls". I'll double this as an outdoor theater in the summer for the kids.

Couple more things about this project:
I have the CG2.
I have a hitting net for being the impact screen (once I get that)
I need:
- projector (likely short throw - from 4 ft)
- impact screen ~10x10 but looking at options
- laptop - I don't have one that is powerful enough for TCG 2019
- TCG 2019- Hitting mat -- looking at 4x8

I have a cage similar to yours, but did a couple of things different to make it (from my perspective) a bit more solid. Not sure if it is, but I bought a canopy fitting that allowed me to connect the top bars in the middle and also added another connector and conduit post in the middle at the back of my cage connecting the top and bottom part of the cage.
I have some pics of this in another thread from late last year where someone else was asking for some comments on their build.

No less crazy than I am apparently. Just finished getting my cage, mat and putting green set up. Working on something to protect my fence, as right now I don't have enough space from net to fence to prevent the ball from hitting it. Bought some mattress topper that I'm going to wrap up in a tarp and try to absorb the balls energy. I went with the Wittek mat some people around here use and it is amazing to hit off of. Right now I'm just hitting PW and lower off it to avoid any more damage to the fence and it handles the short irons wonderfully.
Next purchases are screen and projector. Have you found good options for outdoor screens yet? I haven't poked around enough to figure out what is best brightness wise. Projector I figure it easier because it'll probably just be the brightest projector my budget affords.Comment
