My build is currently in full motion. I've received loads of great feedback from users who have helped me with my projector, PC, screen setup, curtains and now i'm finally in need of a little assistance on the surrounding floor area. I have a 5x4 fiberbuilt mat and wanted to know how others "finished off" the surround. My setup is in a second bay of a 2 car garage. The sim bay has 9'8" ceiling height, 14' wide and 22' long. I've purchased a mevo plus so i need the 8 or so ft behind the hitting area and hitting area to screen will be around 10-12 ft. I want the area to be at the same height as the fiberbuilt but just looking at the rubber mat i was wondering how that is even possible. The fiberbuilt outer has a curved form and getting those MMA mats which are square will even match up.
Has anyone finished off the surround with a fiberbuilt mat and if so what did you use that looked good and was functional? Or if someone potentially just used the fiberbuilt stand area plus hitting area and inserted that into something like the MMA mats to make it more aesthetically pleasing and level.
Almost forgot the fake grass. any recommendations would helpful. Thanks.
