Inflatable Golf Simulator

HI All,

I just purchased a inflatable golf Simulator, which is 13.8 feet Wide x 14,9 feet Deep x 10.8 feet High

I have a 9'x9' Fiberbuilt hitting and putting mat combo and I am using the Skytrak and using a Optoma EH412ST

I have 2 questions

1. is the size of the simulator good to hit from the center of the mat?
2. I do have the option to install the projector on the ceiling of the golf tent or on the floor with the projector case , if decide to deflate the Golf Tent I have to remove the projector every time which I don't mind but placing it on the floor is a bit more convenient but if i am able to hit from the center i will not be able to putt.

Interesting. Is it like a bounce house where you have to have it plugged into an air pump that is constantly blowing air into it? Or is it more like an inflatable pool that you blow up and then seal it off?

Less than 14 feet is probably borderline for hitting in the middle. My space is about 13 wide and I hit slightly offset. Easy thing to do is just measure out a space in your house that is 13.8 wide and take a driver and do some slow motion swings to see how much clearance you have.

I have this tent, but with the floor. It works great, but air does not hold for 4-5 days, more like 2-3. Depending on where you live, if the weather temps don't change a lot between day and night I expect you can stretch an extra day or two.

I mount the projector, it's a pain in the ass, but overall it's a better experience. I started with a floor mounted situation. Also, I use the Mevo+ instead of Skytrak. I use the Fiberbuilt 9x6 and that works well. A few other mats to make a level area between Mevo and ball and for putting and its a great situation. I solved the winter heating issue with an industrial construction site blower. Overall I love it, but it's a pain when it rains or snows.

Curious What is the benefit of the floor

Yeah going to try to first start mounting it on the top and take it from there

I felt the floor made everything a bit cleaner. I could mark locations for the mats and it just was a better solution overall, worth the additional cost and weight.

Question Noob20, when it rains do you just deflate it and roll it up or do you deflate it and leave it where it is
again that assuming this setup up you have is outdoors

It depends on the amount of rain/snow. The sides are nylon, so when it's deflated, if there is any significant rain, that rain gets under the deflated roof, in between the "ceiling" and the floor (I have a floor). So what that means is that I need to remove the accumulated rain on the top of the tent, and then inflate it and remove all the water from inside the tent. I have tried several methods including leaf blowers, mops, and brooms. I have the best results with a wet/dry vac, although all these methods are not easy or fast. The good news is you can leave the hitting mats in place. I remember the projector when I deflate though.

Ordered my one last week. I was wondering how it was holding up? Do you have to deal with us customs? What do you do with the projector when you deflate it.
