I have a 13' wide screen and currently have the screen wrapped over the 1" EMT poles with plastic clamps that snap over the EMT pole. The clamps started to slip so I am in need of a new method. One of my main problems is I don't have a bottom pole and I don't want the balls to go under the screen. I tried adding my own grommets to the screen and the middle ones did not hold up well at all. I am looking for some creative solutions here. I appreciate the help!
How to Keep Screen Tight w/o Grommet Holes?

Most people use tarp clips with ball bungees. The ball bungee wraps around the EMT pole and threads through the tarp clip. Tarp clip then clips to the screen. It creates some nice tension and helps soften the bounce back because the bungees allow the screen to give a little upon impact. Both the tarp clips and ball bungees can be bought at Home Depot. Fasten several of them on each side and on top. You'll want the frame to be a few inches wider than the screen on each side in order to create the tension. If the screen is too wide for that, just fold it over some.
You don't want the screen attached at the bottom. Best method is to just let it hang loose but hang the screen low enough so that just a little bit of slack touches the floor. Or raise the turf a little by using some pool noodles or something underneath the turf at the bottom of the screen.

I currently use ball bungees on all 4 sides (top, bottom, left and right) and works great. I don’t use tarp clips, but like 3on3 says, many people use both.

I can try that method. I just don't want to lose too much of my screen width. How much do you lose on each side when doing the tarp clips and bungees?Originally posted by 3on3putt View PostMost people use tarp clips with ball bungees.
