  • Anyone used Par2Pro?

I was almost there with a complete system from them ($32 K plus, plus), but now I'm getting that uneasy feeling like I'm being played. It would be very convenient to source everything from one place, but a bit of snarky attitude and some misrepresentation on a couple things have me thinking about just piecing it together myself.

They have always treated me well when I inquired about certain items. I would think piecing things together by yourself will save you money at the end. Good luck with the journey.

For $32k, you should feel 100% comfortable and confident with any vendor. That’s a lot of money and not having a good feeling about it, is gonna have you second guessing. Why not try gung ho golf? He has a pretty stellar rep on this site

Thanks for the info. I'll give this a try.

I am currently using them for supply and installation. My shed build is still in progress so at this point Par2pro has shipped all components to me but everything will stay in the boxes until construction is completed.
I'm sure I could have saved some money by shopping around for components and/or doing the install myself, but I also do not feel that they have been dishonest or are ripping me off. Communication and advice have been really good and I feel that the components they've supplied are good quality. Shane just called me yesterday to get an update on the construction and talk about timing of booking the installation, and he brought up the possibility (without prompting) of refunds if the cost of travel for the install crew is less than expected or if they don't use all of the materials they anticipate (install has been prepaid as well)
The quality and finish or the installation remains to be seen but so far I have pretty high confidence in them.

I'm not saying they are "Ripping me off" but I feel, in some ways, like I'm dealing with some salesmanship and blanket we know what's best and you must trust everything even when we don't get it quite right.

Par2Pro is solid. The thing is right now there is a crazy run on home based golf everywhere. No one can keep up. Two things happen. A. They can't get stuff and people get pissed and B. the develop shorter fuses as they are tripping over customers. It's a crazy time for home based golf sales.

I do not have experience with Par2Pro, but to your point regarding any business. The issue is not being transparent. People only get upset when a business is not upfront about things. If you tell someone there will likely be a long wait time before they commit to a product or service, they will probably understand. Additionally, a good business will not tolerate an employee with a short fuse with customers.

All I can say is I’ve never had a bad experience with them, non of my friends have and I’ve never heard of anyone else having an issue like this with them.

I agree Par2Pro is solid and they have been in this business for a long time. I would suggest reaching out to Cory and letting him know of your experience. I know they are very busy and believe that they indicate this on their website, but likely best reaching out to the owner and hopefully he can help set things straight for you.

Yeah man, for that kind of $$ i'd want the experience to be awesome. Two people I'd reach out to would be GungHo and Jay from GolfSimulatorVideos... Either of those guys seem to have great networks, very open lines of communications, and transparency. I'm not trying to say anything negative about Par2Pro, I've reached out to them in the past regarding some new products and they were quick to reply and very nice.

I had an amazing experience with Par2pro. I bought all non electric components from them. Mat, screen, frame, frame kit, side curtains, ceiling baffles, etc. They couldn't have been more thorough and helpful through the process. They literally sent me everything I needed down to the dry wall anchors. I didn't have them install anything but the products and customer service on how to install everything was amazing. I mostly spoke with their US rep, Preston, but made my payments thru their main ops in Canada and everyone I spoke to was professional and helpful. I also spent a ton of time talking to Preston while designing the project and was never charged a design fee or anything related to the design. They are great!

Here is a link to my build for reference:

Ok after lurking for a while and getting some advice on various components of my sim along the way I have started my build... We built a new house and I had 1/3 of the basement (~600sq ft) dropped 2 feet to creat 11 ft ceilings... This area will be my sim/gym area... The sim portion of it is 16.5ft X 22'10"... They just

+ 1 for a solid experience with Par2Pro. I have nothing but good things to say and recommend them any chance I get. My SQ screen, Netting and Quad all came through Par2Pro.

                        Thank you Dax!

It has been absolutely crazy busy during this pandemic our vendors and production team and even the fabric mills have all had their issues during this time. We certainly apologize if we have come across as anything other than trying to educate our valued clients on what the variety of systems do what and dig in to find out what peoples goals are so that we can educate them thoroughly so they purchase the proper simulator for their own needs. The comment suggesting the "Salesmen" feeling really hurts us, as we pride ourselves on not being Sales people but rather Teachers. If you buy from us that's a plus.

Questor, Please message cory@par2pro.com and let him know who you were dealing with so that he can address this matter with the Simulator Specialist.

I can't speak highly enough of Cory and Par2Pro.

I ordered my screen and my launch monitor from them. I received my Mevo incredibly fast and my screen came and is an incredible screen. Quick, polite and competitively priced.

They had a bit of an error in shipping and first their team reached out and after I let them know all was good Cory emailed me to thank me. Obviously I can't tell you how to feel, especially when spending 32k but if I was going to spend that much I personally would trust them.

Best of luck man hope your sim turns out great!
