Finally done with garage golf simulator - garage upgrade

After 3.5 months of on and off of upgrading the garage and building the golf simulator I am finally done. Many thanks to 3on3putt who answered many of my questions.
    • Skytrak + Game Improvement Software + TGC2019
    • Swing bay - 9.5' x 9.5' x 9.5'
      • left side, dark out curtain 8'x10'
      • top and right side, 40 oz vinyl tarp 10' x 20', really heavy, over 50 lbs
      • 1 inch EMT pipes
    • Fiberbuilt 5'x4' hitting mat
    • Supertex 9'x9' screen
    • 8' x 10' turf
    • Benq th671st projector
    • 50' 4K TV
    • Currently I am using 1:1 ratio for the projector. It works well for Skytrak Software but not so well for TGC2019. I will move the projector closer for a 3:4 setup for 9' x 6.75' so I will have 1 foot blank on top and bottom of the screen.
    Costs:
$2.5 k for garage upgrade - I did all the drywall and cabinets myself
$5k for golf simulator and accessories

I included the before pictures of my messy garage.

Looks great! And yes, 1:1 is fine for just a driving range but not so much for course play. If your projector has zoom you can zoom in to blow up the image slightly and then mount accordingly. That can steal you a few extra inches of image size. But otherwise the blank screen space is just something to live with for us square screen users. You can hang some cloth material up top and/or bottom to cover the blank screen space if you want. Congrats and welcome!
