    My Garage Golf Simulator build

I was building my sim through the winter and recently completed to be able to play. Now looking to winterize garage better and decorate the wall with the TV, with a paint job and golf items. I can add information if anyone interested in advice to build affordably. I also built a golf club stand since I could not find anything online that was similar or worth the money.

Looks great, congrats and enjoy sim golf!

I like those lockers. Where did you get those? Can you share a link? Thanks.

I actually did not buy from a store. Used to work at a bank and they were getting rid of them to make more room in break room. The filing cabinet was also being replaced with a newer one.

If you are looking to seal up your garage for more comfortable use in the winter than a product that should be high on the list is Thermotraks. If that garage door is not pressed against the wall than air will come in so fast that no amount of insulation will work.

to winterize a garage you need to do the following:

        1) Make garage door air tight (thermotraks)
        2) Make garage air tight. Fill leaks if present at windows, sill plate, etc
        3) Insulate garage door if you do not have an insulated door
        4) Once airtight get a small heater. No propane or natural gas is ideal, you do not want those byproducts in your space.
        5) If you are not parking cars here than cover the floor with rigid insulation, place plywood over the top and then your golf flooring. Will help a lot but only useful once air sealed

Thank you. I will look into thermotraks. I installed an electric 240V heater which helped this past winter. Looking into insulating 2 walls and other half of ceiling as did half.
      Working...
