Hey everyone, appreciate any insight here. I’m building an outdoor putting green (30x30) in my backyard and we are planning to incorporate a hitting mat/net to allow for outdoor range use, not really going to do much in the way of sim golf.
I have the ability to get a Flightscope Xi Tour for $5800 or a GCQuad with club data for $11,500 and I’m trying to decide which would be better for what I’m trying to do. I’ve used Flightscopes (mainly X2 and X2 Elite) with some golf instructors and I’m familiar with how they work. I also owned a GC2/HMT that I sold last year, so I’m familiar with the Foresight products as well. Space isn’t an issue as they haven’t built the putting green yet and I have flexibility in the design. Leaning the GCQuad as it’ll require less (can just throw a hitting mat and net down and go) versus having to get a 10’ area to put the Flightscope on. Not planning to get any software with it, just mainly use it as a driving range. Also, will be running off an iPad, if that makes a difference.
Thanks for any insight!
