  • Starting a Sim Build with one or two questions ??

    Hi All,

Been around the forum for a while mainly lurking. Finally my Garage / Man Cave (outhouse) is complete. I have dedicated a 5m x 7.2m area with ceilings from 2.5m to 3m height (hitting area). Screen size 4m x 2.5m. Hitting area 10ft from screen.

My plans (please feel free to chip in and give any suggestions) Sorry for all the questions in advance

Mevo+ Golf Simulator (My son is a lefty so require the R/L set up) I would rather invest in the initial set up and allocate more budget to a Projector / Screen / Mat etc... perhaps next year then get the EYE XO.

Projector Panasonic PTVZ580. Any suggestions would be great, budget £1-2.5k

    Screen Par2Par HD SQ 4m x 2.5m 16:10. would a 4.5mx2.5m 16:9 be better ?

    Screen Pelmets Trims (Done)

    Hitting Mat (any suggestions ?)

Wall / Ceiling padding 1.5m out from the screen rather than a enclosure.

PC I have a 3090 ready to go

So basically I need any suggestions (UK based if possible on the following)
    • Projector
    • Hitting Mat
    • Wall / Celling Padding
    • E6 or TGC2019

Thanks for reading will post some pics very soon and keep it up to date

Update on the Build !!!! I will have some photographs soon.

I have bought the Mevo + (to start but probably will upgrade to the EYE XO) If I get the use out of it to warrant the 13k spend in the UK
      I have a PC
Purchased a hitting mate Soft Strike ( As advertised by Jay on one of his vids) Waiting for it to arrive to the UK any day now.
Screen ordered 2.65m x 4m wide (HD SQ Screen) will give me 150mm drop at the bottom.
I went the E6 route instead of TGC 2019

Projector ahhhh I have been looking and about to pull the trigger on the Viewsonic LS860WU... Does anyone have any experience with this projector ?
