Optoma Projector settings

I’m new to projectors and I purchased a Optoma 1090 HDR. My screen aspect ratio is 4:3. Anyone know if that projector is default at 4:3 I’m having a lot of issues with setup.

It is not 4:3 by default but can easily be changed to 4:3 in the settings. Then make sure you're selecting a 4:3 resolution in your graphics card and software settings. Also make sure you're mounting it at the correct distance for 4:3 use. Consult projector central for that.
