  • Would love a thread of people posting pictures of there setups

Im building new home and looking to put in a golf sim/home theater combo. Id like to draw from other people's creations on the best way to do this. Figured we could create thread of people posting all types of setups for others to refer back to.

if you post the floorplan ( with dimensions ) on where you want to install the golf sim enclosure, I can get you a layout and some options.

    thx

There was a great build posting with pictures on this site within the past year. Might be a very good source of useful information for you.

Here is a video overview of my (almost) completely DIY Simulator Room. I have cleaned up some of the overhead cabling and added a cool, new ceiling fan that has an up-light that provides more than enough light for the Skytrak and keeps it dark enough for the projected image to look great.

My daughters grew out of their play room so I took it over and turned it into the Simulator. I bought a screen and a hitting pad and built the rest. I added a Skytrak and the room is killer now. See the images and video below. simulator pic 1https://golfsimulatorforum.com/core/image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAPABAP///wAAACH5BAEK

This is a photo of mine. 9 feet wide x 9 feet high screen. 9 foot ceilings. I use par2pro SQ screen with angle irons on wall and ceiling. Par2pro turf and I now have a CCE hitting mat. Use an Epson 5050bu projector mounted 18 ft from screen.

Looks GREAT! How did you finish trim around the screen to meet walls?

I bought 3 pieces of angle iron from lowes and mounted to one to the ceiling and one to each wall. The screen is from Par2pro and I purchased the finished screen with the Velcro kit to make it fit flush to wall. I also used zip ties and bungie cords to mount screen to angle iron.

what space dimensions do you have to work with?

how deep do you want the sides/top?

            what sysem are you using?

is it doubling as a home theater?

            thx
