  • Materials needed to build a simulator

    Hello
I built a simulator about a year and a half ago. Made from 2x4s and framed it in but looking to go with something easier to dissemble when needed and stored. Something similar to the picture provided. The questions I have is what type of materials does one need to achieve this look? What type of piping, tarp looking stuff, and what not. If you have any suggestions let me know! Thanks for the help!

that can be built out of 3/4-1" emt conduit. We make something very similar. What size are you looking for? Do you want to keep your original screen or get a whole new setup? How often do you want to take down and setup?

We might be able to use your screen. Would need pics and dimensions

    see link below

I’ll add pictures of it to this forum today and maybe my dimensions tomorrow if I have time. Not at my house

      Chris,

your build looks. The only thing I would do is add some type of padding to the front 2 x 4s. All of our frames have padding in the front.

get me your dimensions. We can build just about any size

      thx

You can get 1" EMT 10' lengths from HD or Lowes. Use canopy fittings for corners. You might have a supply store close or easy to order online from Amazon or eBay. I doubled up sides/ceiling using netting ordered off Amazon and black denim from local fabric store for blackout curtain. Bungee balls to connect. Only other consideration is padding for the EMT. There are threads on all of this if you are considering DIY.
