It depends on the quality of recordings you want. Those will work and plenty of users have had success with the OV sensors. I would try to stay away from cameras that have rolling shutters for high-speed captures and maybe try to find a camera with a global shutter like the OV2710 sensor. Again it depends on your application and what your expectation is. Make sure you figure it the cost of lighting unless you plan to use these outsides during the daytime. Correctly placed and sufficient lighting will greatly improve your experience.Comment

Budget? Hmm. Right now I'd like to keep things under $250 for the pair. I know that's not much, but I can upgrade later if I find having them to be useful.Comment

Your on the right track then. Search OV2710 cameras and find something along the same link you sent before just with a OV2710 sensor.Comment

I don't know if this has the right sensor, but it says it has a "global shutter." Could this work if there is lots of light?Comment
