First of all thank you for answering my many questions over the course of the last few days. Coming back with a few more.
I am building a simulator in my garage because the ceilings in my basement are too short to swing the big stick. Unfortunately, in the garage we still be attempting to park both vehicles and our mower. These will need to be moved each time I want to use the setup. Additionally, when hosting people the basement offers a drastically better host space for simultaneously watching games, play area for kids, couches, etc. plus when I just want to get a range session in I can hit the basement.
What is the viability of simply having two enclosures, and mobility with everything else?
I can think of the following important pieces of a simulator.
launch monitor: SkyTrak is easily movable
enclosure: building two separate enclosures with the same aspect ratio
mat: hitting mat seems to be easy enough to move? If not simply buy two will save on wear over time.
computer: gaming laptop is easily movablea as
projector: this is my primary concern. Is it feasible to use the projector from the floor and make markings, or a “rail” to lock the projector in place in both locations? Physically moving the projector doesn’t seem to be an issue?
once again thank you!
