Projector help

so i bought a complete set up with a uneekor qed and a 9'x12' screen/bay...package inlcuded a Panasonic PT-VX610U projector....I have 10' ceilings in my garage....was told that this projector will fill up my screen 4:3 ratio....question is.....am I gonna get shadows because it looks like i will have to mount the projector like 15 feet behind me?

I had a long throw projector before mounted almost flush with a 9' 6" ceiling and never had shadows.

Mine was slightly offset to the right to avoid my head (I'm 6'4"). It was 19' from the screen and my hitting mat was right around 10' from the screen.
