  • New Garage Simulator Build

Just finishing up the final touches on my garage simulator. This is my #2 version as I’ve went from a 9x9 screen to a 16’ Par2Pro Stealth power screen. I customized with some canvas side and top panels, TGC software, GC2 launch monitor, Panasonic VZ580 WUXGA projector, Gung-ho Holy Grail hitting strip and some LED side lights. I can’t say enough about the Panasonic projector and the picture quality! So far my only change I would like to make some day is a right lefty setup as moving the GC2 for my lefty son is a pain. Trackman is out of my price range and I would like to stay with TGC but the simplicity of the GC2/TGC Setup is a great simulator system with very few mis-reads.

Looks great. Consider the Uneekor EYE XO for leftie/rightie players.

Thanks for the recommendation. No marked balls or clubs needed and no need to change clubs so should be just like GC2 on speed of play correct? I’m also wondering how long it takes to calibrate the Uneekor and what program is needed to pair it with TGC?

That's amazing picture quality, where is your projector in relation to the hitting mat, any shadow issues?

Projector is 17’ screen to front of projector. Bottom of projector is 9’ and hitting area is 9’8” center off screen so no shadowing. What’s great about this projector is the corner adjustments so you can precisely fill screen.

15’5” x 9’ screen. I’ve attached the image of the lighted room. (screen bottom is not pulled tight)

I believe this is the projector you have, I was looking at projector central #s to see if this would work with my screen, it looks like it would cause shadow issues with the height off the floor. Thoughts?

I setup my hitting area for 9’8” to center, any closer adjourn would have shadowing. I’m only 5’9” so that also helps. This issue was brought up my Par2Pro on my purchase so I’m sure they can help you out.
