Cross posted from the Full Swing forum where my post is getting looks, but no responses. I suspect the FS population is pretty small, given the high cost of a new system. I couldn't afford a new one either and the only reason I have one is from my wife (!) being in the right place at the right time. Some questions are general sim related questions, like distance from tee to screen and from screen to back wall, and one is probably brand specific.
Long story short: I inherited a "free" 2016 SwingTrack system from a friend's father. The catch was my friend thought the CPU and hard drive (SSD) were fried from the basement flooding. I was able to salvage the computer and SSD with all the software (E6 1.6 & swing analysis programs) and now have a working sim computer.
Now I am moving forward with the sim room buildout and have some system specific questions that I can't find the answers to on the interwebs. I removed the equipment from the basement myself, and took lots of pictures, so I know generally how it goes together. I will be modifying the screen and camera support framework that holds the forward (ball tracking?) cameras to match the ceiling joists and to narrow the standoff of the screen from the back wall to 12-14".
The dimensions of the room are 16'6' front to back (15'6" screen to back wall) x 14'5" wide (effective).
1. What is the minimum and maximum distances the tee/ hitting area can be from the screen? I am comfortable between 8' to 9', is that sufficient?
2. Is there a specific distance the forward cameras need to be from the screen or the hitting area? I measured my mounts and the forward most mount is 14 3/4" from the screen crossbar. Is this spacing measurement crucial? I can certainly make this happen, but just want to know if it should be a concern, or not. I would greatly appreciate measurements of the distance from their front camera mounts to the screen, if someone can be gracious enough to climb up and run a tape measure.
4. Can you see anything I missed in my general plans, or something you think I should consider to improve the build?

P.S. The door at the top of the plans is a door to my workshop and I have it blocked off on the other side, so I'm not worried about the position of the CPU desk.
