Can a Surface Pro 4 run any sims?

Just starting the process of working on a build, getting a launch monitor, and now looking at the need for a gaming laptop. Only computer i currently use has the following specs. Would be hoping to run TCG2019 for sims. I'm assuming this is too outdated and i need a new rig. Any advice appreciated - ive just been out of the gaming realm since counterstrike (original) so i dont know anything about new graphics/gaming in the past 15 years. Thanks!

8 gb RAM
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6300U CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.50 GHz
Intel (R) HD Graphics 520

Any reccs on laptops to handle TCG19? Not interested in any other gaming.

It all depends on your expectations. Can it run the program - maybe ....can it run the program well - likely not. I fully understand that most of us only have so many jellybeans for the simulator jar, but I also see a lot of folks trying to run sim software on min spec computers and then complain they are not getting the performance they were expecting.

Your CPU is below (not massively, but below) the min spec required for TGC2019, and quite a bit below the recommended spec: UserBenchmark: Intel Core i5-6300U vs i5 760

Your GPU is substantially below min spec - so far that I did not even look at the recommended spec: UserBenchmark: Intel HD 520 (Mobile Skylake) vs Nvidia GTX 650

For what its worth, I would say you are best to start looking for a new system and continue your planning accordingly. I also would suggest that you can get much more bang for the buck with a desktop than a laptop, but you may have other considerations driving you to the laptop.

thanks for the feedback. any recc on desktop? i actually could just leave the unit up in the simulator room but thought the benefit of a laptop would just be for mobility or using it ... as a laptop. dont really need to though. i also got this recc on laptop from a reddit post: https://www.newegg.com/black-msi-gf-...82E16834155930

That laptop would work well. I am considering the same one! Great price for those specs in my opinion!

Has anyone run the original flightscope mevo+ and the new FS PC software and E6 courses on a microsoft surface, i5 1.5Ghz, 8GB RAM, intel iris plus graphics with 1GB RAM?
