New Panasonic VMZ series projectors coming

I was looking at Panasonic PT-VMZ50U 5000-Lumen WUXGA 3LCD Laser Projector but just notified that Panasonic is coming out with a new VMZ series of projectors up to 7000lm starting this month (Feb 2022) to replace the current generation models. No info on pricing but the new series will be lighter, smaller, and slightly quieter. It also uses less power (300W vs 400W) and can also accept 4K/30p as input.

If you are thinking of getting a Panasonic projector, you may want to wait for the new series.

Did you end up getting this projector? If so, how do you like it?

It seems up there in pricing (~2500 USD) so not sure if it's worth the jump from the VZ580U.
