  • New Basement Sim Build (98% Complete)

Finally finished the space in my basement.

    Specs:

    Size: Roughly 15' x 10' x 9.5'
Launch Monitor: Bushnell Launch (Also have a Flight Scope Xi Tour)
Projector: BenQ TK700STi (not actually pictured in the first image, but is projecting in the second)
    Mat: CC Elite

Right now it's actually semi taken apart as we finish the electrical, I will post more pictures once its full back up and running.

Looks great! What screen is that? And how's the bounce back? Looks close as possible to swing

It's close, but the ball basically dies immediately; less than 1' of bounce.

Wow Sandwich that is impressive! 1' of bounce, please tell us what screen that is, what is behind it, and how it is fastened? It really shows how you can fit in a tight space with an optical LM. One option that I do not have with a radar unit.

The screen is the "preferred" line from Carl's Place (I think it's a pretty popular screen on here). I secured it to the wall by screwing slotted angle iron into a stud, and connecting the screen to the angle iron with 4" ball-style bungee cords. I will have to dig into my pictures and see if I have any "progress" pics.

Sandwich - are you using Tarp Clips to hold the screen to the bungees? Which ones? I'm currently looking at pulling my screen underneath (from the bottom) to a second EMT pipe along the back wall - all of mine are secured with Ball Bungees and Tarp Clips (I now have 3 different type of Tarp Clips to compare as I want this stretched screen along the bottom to be tight - and stay tight... hoping that limit bounce back.

Can you tell me if you have anything else behind your screen - or some 'in progress' shots to show me how you're mounting to angle iron?

Nice. What's the screen size and the distance of the projector and hitting distance? Any shadow issues?
