  • Part 2 of my garage simulator build!

This one is a bit longer of a watch but I spend some time going over all the parts of my current setup and what i intend to improve.

I am adding things over time and saving money where i can by using a hodgepodge of materials. Hopefully these videos are helpful to you guys building out home sims of your own

Please ignore the ugly swings at the end. I was attempting to test the new padding by hitting a shot as high as possible but was unsuccessful. I promise you this setup has allowed me to completely change my swing for the better and I have zero buyers remorse.

Congrats! It's a lot of work... I see you used a grommet cutter, which I recently bought/used to get my Fabric up in the weirdest pattern with my Gambrel (barn) roof, it had to be folded on sides, doubled up in back, and dropped down into 2 baffles in front. I put grommets in all the way around as I hung it - probably one of the hardest tasks on the entire sim! Keep going man, you're doing great.

How you liking the Bushnell? It might be one of my next purchases, that or Uneekor Mini.

The BLP is perfect for my space.

The garage is not heated so id be afraid to mount a permanent above mounted system. I don't have enough space for a radar system and the space it self is probably too "noisy"

The accuracy is amazing. I played for the first time in the middle of March and my distances are dialed in. I know by feel now what the ball is going to do in the air because the data is spot on.

It's definitely an investment but i have zero buyers remorse. Plus i have already been able to pay off the credit card!

It is without a doubt my favorite purchase that i have ever made

magnets Cool - BLP sounds great... maybe you could shoot a video hitting some shots with BLP and Sim Software, FSXPlay or something? Still looks like you need additional padding, etc... Have a look at my nearly finished job... lots of padding/gutter foam, memory foam, etc:
