Carl's enclosure foam size

First post after lurking for some time now.
For anyone that bought the foam inserts along with their enclosure purchase, would you be able to share the dimensions of that foam insert? It looks like a wedge cut from a larger block, so just looking for length of the triangle's sides.

Anyone? I'm just wanting to do the math on a quick make vs buy given it was not presented as an option when I bought one of their clearance enclosures some time ago. I'm guessing they would sell me the foam if I reach out directly, but since I'm doing some other foam treatments and may have some left over, I'd at least like to understand size, etc. vs trial and error.

The enclosure foam pockets close with strong velcro. The wedge-shaped foam fits inside. If you don't want to spend the $$ with them, I'm sure you can find something to fit inside. I don't want to slide mine out to take measurements, but I'm sure you can find plenty of options to fit inside of the pockets. The cost of the foam inserts (after purchasing them from CP) seems to be a bit on the expensive side, but they do fit well and work.

Thanks. Is it a dense and harder foam or something fairly soft?

They look like gutter foam, but they are more like a lighter "memory foam."

Tom Howarth - if that's the case, it probably provides better 'stopping' with memory foam... I bought a 3" memory foam mattress, that I plan on cutting into pieces for any spaces that I need to fill in, up in rafters, and in front of collar ties... probably the only way to stop a 'sky ball' hit up there from a driver, or a hard 'lob wedge'... have to see... going to take it slow until I'm certain everything to block ricochets is in place.

Good idea. Ricochets are fairly infrequent, but not fun. I have had a few and learned how to improve my set up to guard against that. I don't hit a ton of "lob wedge shots." I just don't see the need. They don't really ricochet, but the screen is designed to absorb shots well. The walls and ceiling of the enclosure are there to keep shots "in," not to be continually hit. I have hit 160mph drivers into my screen and it stops on a dime. Good luck!
