Does anyone have suggestions for extending the height of the enclosure a foot or so above the screen? I have a 9x14 carls screen in a 10.5ft ceiling height garage but I’m hoping to add a foot of height to the enclosure just to give the driver some room on the follow through. My best idea currently is to get longer ball bungies then fill the gap between the screen and frame with a 3” memory foam topper covered with black cloth. Any other ideas or things folks have done?

How close to the screen are you? Your driver "follow through" is higher than 9'0? You must be very tall. -
If I were to do something like this on the cheap, I would probably consider switching to slightly longer EMT on the vertical sections, mount the screen normally in line with the new top of the enclosure, then add new suitable black material secured under the screen and sides. At least it would all look uniform that way. The keys though would be a suitably strong material that also does not mark balls, securing that material in a safe manner that works the same as the existing, and of course dealing with weight/bottom of screen and enclosure effectively similar to how that enclosure is designed stock. Finally, one would probably need to overlap and consider rebound or lost ball issues with introducing another layer of material to the lower impact portion. You could always buy another impact screen only to match your new enclosure height.Comment
