Garage build - easily movable - on a budget

First requirement is to keep wifey happy. She uses garage for personal training so I'm trying to create a garage sim that is relatively easy to move / take down. My first attempt used wire cable secured into studs across my garage with netting secured by spring snaps. This allowed the netting to be moved like a curtain when not in use. However, the cable loops keep coming out of the clamp after a day or so.

I'm thinking a better solution would be a 2D 10' x 5' frame on a ceiling hoist. Wondering if anyone has tried this with PVC instead of EMT (lighter weight). Thoughts?

I have heard others say that pvc may shatter from the ball hitting it. You have enough ceiling height that it won’t be in the way when it’s hoisted up? Something hanging down 5 ft seems like it would be annoying.

I considered similar ideas because I needed to save garage space as well. I think the motorized roller setup is the best option if your budget is able to do it. If you buy the motorized roller and attach the impact to it yourself it’s much less expensive than the whole kits.
