Fink Truss Raising

Hi, Does anyone have any experience in raising Fink Trusses?

I have 9 fink trusses in my garage and I need to raise 3 of them to allow my simulator build to go ahead.

Images attached of existing and proposed design (new wood in red). The span is 5.5m and the height from the bottom of the truss to the top is 2m. The raised tie I propose gives an extra 66cm of height and is about 1/3rd along the length of the truss.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty sure those trusses would fail... got a structural engineer to look at my build and suggested as attached for fink trusses to remove the span from 3 trusses, doubling the outer 2 and adding purlins etc... my plan is to position my hitting matt so the driver follow through uses the space....

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately I am hitting in the other direction, i.e. along the trusses rather than through the middle. Looking at your final pic, that is the same as my normal truss, If only I was hitting that way through them then I would be fine.
