Does it matter what is behind the wall?

I'm in the process of putting an addition onto my shop that will have a new office/man cave/simulator room The entire room is about 24'x36' and the spot designated for the simulator is 16'x20'. I'm using a Mevo+ for my launch monitor. The wall behind my screen will be 2x6 construction with 1/2" drywall on both sides. Behind that wall will be my mechanical room with air handler, air compressor, water softener, etc. Will these items cause any issues since they are in a different room?

I faced a similar situation with my simulator, and also use a Mevo+. Outside the wall behind the screen are two heat pump units. Only one is actually within the screen area. Initially when the unit kicked on (which has a fan) Mevo+ would act up doing things like ghost putting continuously. What I did that completely stopped all issues was I wrapped a 1/8" particle board with aluminum window screen material I bought on Amazon. I placed the wrapped board in-between the simulator screen and the wall in the vicinity such that it was in-between the mevo+ radar and the heat pump.

I think it would be cheap insurance (although I can not guarantee anything) if you were to go-ahead and just cover that wall behind the simulator screen with the same type of aluminum window screen prior to putting up the sheetrock. Just my two cents, and hope it helps.

For radar ideal would be 12 feet ball to screen and 7 feet ball to mevo/ back wall.

Sorry for the delayed response. For some reason I don't get emails from here. I'll have plenty of space to get the necessary distances for Mevo+ to ball and ball to screen. I have 20+ feet of length available.
