  • Almost Golf Ball Setup

Asked a few questions before but plan to get a simple sim going in my garage using Almost golf balls and Phi golf sensor for now, maybe a SkyTrak eventually depending on how it goes

Not ideal but better than nothing IMO

My question is what is the simplest/cheapest thing to hit these into to minimize bounce all over the garage?

Buy a cheap net or just setup a sheet/curtain or something? Open to suggestions. Thanks!

Hey dabears32 - I first tried my Garmin Approach R10 into a net, but it was not ideal... you might want to consider holding off until you can buy a decent screen. I bought a 'seconds' Impact Screen from One Stop Sim Shop, this one: https://tinyurl.com/screen-801-3layer-seconds

As far as a sheet/curtain - you can do it that way, but again, you may have issues with it. I bought this one to place in-front of my 801 screen for protecting the screen. It is a 10'x12' Photo Backdrop - bright white and works well: https://tinyurl.com/photobackdrop10x12

Good luck with your build! I recommend you always go with the best product for the job, or you'll spend a lot of time dealing with consequences of trying to make it work, here's a thread where I got my screen in place:
Hi Everyone, I'm starting this post as a way to keep myself accountable. The tasks are huge, but not insurmountable as I'm having to do all my build work by myself. Contractors are either non-existent in this post-pandemic marketplace, or they have so much work they are 3 months out! I'll be posting up here as I make
