Hi
Starting my garage build and would like some advice please. Have a friend who knows his stuff and has helped put a lot of this together
Purchased a Bushnell Launch Pro.
Pics of my garage are attached. I am having a shed built in a week or so and a lot of the bigger items in the garage will be out.
Dimensions:
23ft wide
21ft long
11ft ceilings
front wall = opposite of garage door.
There is a soffit that runs across the middle of the garage from side to side, which is a 9ft from the front wall.
There are 2 lights on the ceiling that are about 4ft from the front wall.
There is a small lip/step (about 3 inches high) 3ft from the back wall.
My plan is to put a 16x10 sport screen with attached 16x9 impact screen attached to the ceiling at about 3 feet from my front wall so that when it drops down, it is touch the ground in front of the 3 inch step. Is it worth $250 more for the automated sport screen?
I plan on mounting an Optoma GT1080HDR on the ceiling so that the projector beam shoots through a square gap where the garage door opener bracket is. This is about 7.5ft to 8ft from my screen, which would give me an image of roughly 12'x8' to 16'x9' depending on how far back I can set the projector to shoot through the gap.
I have a mat that I use to hit into a net. Not sure if I need to do anything for hitting surface.
I would like to have some nets or protective material down the sides - any suggestions?
I would also probably need something to protect the two lights on the ceiling that would be in the playing field?
See pics attached and thanks in advance!
