Optoma 1080 screen adjustment

How do I adjust the picture to fit the screen? Do I just have to unscrew it from the ceiling and keep moving it back? Seems like there should be some adjustments to get it to fit the screen once it’s close. Thanks. I'll post up some pics of my build after a bit

If you goto the link below, enter your desired screen size, it will show you how far back the projector is required to be.

I chose the GT1080, if you have the 1080e or HDR, just search for that one

I used that to set it up but it wasn’t 100% accurate and I was hoping there was a fine tuning adjustment that could be made. I guess I’ll just put a mounting block on the ceiling to cover the holes and move it back 6” or so. Thanks

Yeah, it's just a starting point. Without a zoom lens, it makes it more difficult to dial in the exact distance. Luckily for me, my setup is in the garage and i mounted my 1080 this way.
