  • Turf in front of Enclosure

I went with a Carls Enclosure and so far I am satisfied with the quality.

My floor is concrete and I first tried to use a putting mat to absorb the bounce back from the screen. Per Carl's website, you can reduce some of the bounce back by removing some of the screen bungies.

    It helped some.

My current setup is using an old memory foam bed topper with two sleeping bags and it works great. The downside is I just screamed a low ball into the sleeping bag and it put a tear in the bag.

So I need to change my setup.

What would you recommend on a concrete floor to absorb the bounce back from the screen?

I used indoor/outdoor grass turf on top of a 1/2 foam pad. I bought some closeout stuff from Menards, and I didn't care about shade or quality that much. I just wanted green.

Then over that I have 3/4" horse stall mats from Tractor Supply with my stance and hitting mats on top of those in a "+" cross shape, with the center hitting/putting mat being a 4x17 section.

I'd welcome a photo post of this when you get a chance. Thanks.

I plan on posting some pics of the total build when I can. But below is the hitting area described.

1/2" EVA tiles work just fine.
