Very nice! I've been building mine over time since 2019. I'm afraid to add it up. My wife may peek in on the forum some time...

Great setup! I’ve been piecing mine together for a similar layout. Does your garage slope at all? Did you level out the hitting surface if so?

also, what simulator software did you go with?

I don't know for sure if my garage slopes, meaning I never really measured it. I do have a leveling stand for my Mevo+ but don't normally use it as the roll is within limit. However, I wonder now since I'll been hitting a lot of pull hooks, but maybe just indoor swing syndrome and still getting adjusted to everything.

I often just use the FS Golf app and Flightscope range so I can log all my shots, and the FS Multicam function is pretty cool. Still testing different sim software, there are a few "popular" options out there

This is pretty much the exact simulator that I am building. I already own a mevo plus. I am going with the same size Carl's enclosure. My ceilings are 9'3"-9'4" in my garage. I have as much depth as I want and the 11.5" width (140") works great. I considered trying to fit the 16:9 that is 13' wide, but it would be a little too wide for other uses in my garage. I know Carl's does custom sizes too. The 8.5 x 11.5 should work well. I had also considered seeing if they could do a 10' depth instead of 5' to give it a little more of an immersive feel. Any thoughts on that?

I am trying to decide on the projector right now. How do you feel about the BenQ TH671ST? I had planned on finding a laser projector, but would be curious how you feel about that one.

Are you happy with your hitting mat?

Any recommendations you have for me? Anything you would do differently?

I am trying to keep it under $10,000. I also need to purchase a laptop to run it.

I thought about the 10' depth but I thought that only came in in the Pro enclosure, but I could be wrong, as I didn't call them to inquire about custom sizing, so you might be able to. I feel the 5' depth is enough for me, hitting about 10' from screen. I do have the optional side nets and they help. I kinda feel like the 10' depth would make me feel a bit claustrophobic for some reason.

I really like the TH671ST so far. No complaints. BenQ support has been great too. My projector had a single dead pixel and they replaced RMA without hassle.

With that being said, the only thing I might of done differently is went with the BenQ 4K projector to mount a bit further back. The 671 is right overhead and it's not in the swing path, but nonetheless I'm still adjusting to a little indoor swing syndrome until I get used to it. Otherwise, wouldn't change anything.

Like I had in my OP above, right under 9K so depending on the PC you should be good. Personally, I went with desktop (more bang for the buck and upgradeability).
