Hi! I have purchased and correctly installed the Fibrebuilt 4x7 mat with grass series hitting strip. I hurt my right wrist on the very first swing. Both wrists are killing me with this set up. I reached out to fibrebuilt and they were suprised. I sent them a video and photos of my set up but they said it was installed correctly. I am a 15 handicap and not a steep swinger of the club so this is a surprising issue. Anyone else "doctor" their fibrebuilt set up? I am thinking about putting foam gym tile down under the mat or an anti-fatigue mat under the mat as well but the rubber base is so heavy that I doubt that will really impact anything. I am debating tossing it in the garbage and just going a different route. But before I do that any ideas out there?

This is surprising for sure. Most people buy the fiberbuilt in hopes its the best thing for any sort of aches and pains. One option would be to buy the Holy Grail hitting strip from gunghogolf. They make then to just fit in where your old strip is. Ive heard great things about them.

If you are bottoming out on the grass series, that's a swing issue and may just take getting some getting used to vs hitting normally hitting off of grass. Those bristles are quite high and to hit the rubber base is very steep/fat. Putting anything under it wont really help. The gungho strip is an option, but if you are hitting that far down into the mat, you're probably going to see the same thing.
