I just got started on thinking about the design for a simulator in my garage.
My garage is 16 feet wide from garage door rail to rail. We currently park one car in the garage, and will still want to be able to park in that same spot. On the other side of the garage, I've got some excess possessions that I need to clean up and get rid of. Still trying to decide the width of my screen, but thinking around 10 feet, and I will be hitting in the direction of the garage door. That way, there is no risk of hitting anything with a club in any direction. Because I need to park in the spot where the sim will be, planning for a retractable system.
Trying to make sure I have a checklist of items that need to be completed before starting the sim build (besides cleaning up). So far i have:

- 1 outlet for wall mount garage door opener. Will be getting rid of current garage door opener.
- 3 outlets for motorized retractable screens (main screen plus 2 side screens)
- 1 outlet for projector (existing outlet being used by the current garage door opener will most likely work)
- HDMI over ethernet to run from projector location to computer
- Ethernet jack in garage to plug in computer or to provide flexibility for adding an additional wifi mesh node running on ethernet backhaul
