Been planning this for a while so I can play with my brother internationally. Built the framework myself around the garage setup (we rent, so was limited in what I could change). Also have to be able to park the car over the setup when not in use, so was a bit of planning needed there. Impact screen is 10ft x 10ft.

Really happy with how it turned out. So great to be able to play a round of golf together and see each others shots from the other side of the world.

Still a work in progress and needs some work to completely tidy things up, but would love some suggestions if anyone has any on how I can improve it. Will post some more pictures as it progresses.

Well done! Enjoy the fruits of your labor! May I ask where you got those interlocking tiles?

Looks great! Do you drive over those tiles and partially into the enclosure when you park the car in the garage? Would love a pic of the car in there if you do. Just curious if you’re concerned about the hitting area getting dirty or otherwise moved around when the car is in there.

Here are the grass tiles. Was particularly happy with these as I didn't want to glue anything down to the concrete since we rent, but at the same time, I wanted it to be full immersive and not obvious i'm in the garage.

Building the same simulator for a friend this weekend who has similar constraints as I did that were holding him back.

Actually been toying with the idea of making a small company to create a package for this, sort of an everyman simulator that's cheaper than the full kits you get but also something that can be built with the constraints that a lot of people have without them having to do the crazy amount of research I did. We'll see though, for now i'm just enjoying playing everyday and seeing my swing improve (i've been playing for a long time, but am far from a good player so improvements have been coming quickly with regular play).

The enclosure is sideways, so I don't park in there, but I do drive on the tiles. They're pretty good and bouncing back though and haven't shown wear in the limited period of time i've been doing it. Been thinking about getting a sheet of some sort to place over it when parking to protect it.

We have an electric car so don't need to worry about oil spills etc, but still don't want to worry about the grass tiles getting dirty etc. Navigating that as I go and will adjust as need though. I'll take a picture of the car in there later.

I have a similar issue. I bought a 10x8 inexpensive tarp from Lowe’s to catch water drops/ice/crud which keeps it off my turf and floor. Works fine.
