This has been a dream of mine for years. I have been researching golf simulator setups for it seems like forever, wired a space for it when we built and finally getting close to having it done. A few odds and ends, fine tuning projector, some art, control box, maybe a lean on bar to incase the Mevo and hold clubs. Missouri winters will no longer stop the Scramble Tour in Little LA.

Since I took these pictures, I have moved my projector back to fit the screen, installed a flat extension cord under foam square flooring for Mevo power, countersunk the hitting mat into the tiles, Countersunk Mevo into tile for less movement, and added a ramp in front of the mat for returning balls.
Left to do: Maybe build a lean on narrow bar that will encase the Mevo and have a place to lean clubs, people can stand or sit on other side. Work on graphics card and TGC resolution settings, I'm still kind of lost on this part even after doing all the calculations and what not. Build Control Box, everything should be in by tomorrow.
Specs
My space is approximately 14’Wx25’Dx9’H. I prewired for the projector when finishing basement but if that isn’t an option you could run your wires and use a wire hiding kit from amazon or local store. We stream our TV with YoutubeTV and other apps, and watch a lot of sports. I didn’t want the TV’s in the basement to be out of sync so I have a fire stick that goes into a 4 way splitter then out to the 3 other TV’s and one to the projector (yes you can watch games and movies on your sim too).
You will need about 12 inches behind your screen as a buffer from the wall, so keep that in mind when planning out your distances in your space. 8-10 feet from screen to where you hit and 7-10 from hitting area to Mevo Plus. After you’re done you can adjust the bounce back (how far the ball comes back off the screen after impact) by adding or removing ball bungees that secure the screen.
I set this up with a center hitting mat so LH and RH golfers could play at the same time without having to move anything. That is also why I went with the Mevo Plus, it sits behind the hitting path and not off to the side of the ball like other models which make it almost impossible to play together.
TGC2019 is one of many software options available, but wow! You can do so much with this, including designing your own course or playing the best courses in the world! A lot of people design their home courses so you’d be surprised how many there are. You can also play online with friends or join online societies. You’ll need a gaming computer to run it so if you’re looking to shave some money off you could go with an iPad and the free software or a cheaper upgrade.
I ran some strip LED lights around the outside of the enclosure, looks cool but not necessary. Very cheap though if you decide you like it. I basically just did it so it would glow Red for Chiefs and Cards Game and Yellow for MU and the Masters. Lol I ran power to the Mevo under the foam flooring using a flat extension cord.
