Great build, I like the ramp you made. I think I will build one like it for mine. The BenQ 936 ST is the same one I have. The picture quality is fantastic. The card I have is a 3080TI, It runs smooth with no issues. I am sure better ones are available. The shot out the door to a green is amazing. If only I had the room. Good luck with with all of that.

I would love to know more about how you attached you screen (in detail). I am in the process of a shed build, and really like the idea of having the screen "inset" into the actual structure, but I am constantly wondering "How will I change the screen when the time comes?" and injuries of that nature. Thoughts and tips/ideas?

Good job and Daoasis - fantastic projector... are you enjoying it? I also enjoy your ramp... great idea... how's that working for you, I've considered it several times, but hate to lose 2' of space that I could be using for putting cups.

and as smw0720 says, would like to see a little more on how you attached the screen, was it just eyebolts into the 2x6 at the back of the ramp?

Brettster - Yea man - Love the look of what you have done with it as well. And I think I saw another guy that built his into the wall and used Vant padding instead of a conventional EMT frame like the Carls/all the others. Love the aesthetics of it... but trying to figure out how the hell I would do that, and how the hell would I change the screen when the time comes... but I just love the minimal/sleek look.

smw0720 - the way I did it, it's easy to change screen. I was back behind it yesterday doing some work... I know 8" doesn't sound like much, but it's just enough to get behind it and tighten things, and you just unscrew the tarp clips and take them off, loosen the bungee balls and the whole screen comes down off the wire at top... I would like to know how you get along... maybe start a post about your build, or I can answer questions, PM me.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'built it into his wall' - that sounds impossible to me, unless he had Zero Studs in the wall??? Let me know a link where I could see that.

Brettster - "Built into the Wall" was a poor choice of words... my bad.

I did find the post that inspired the comment thought. It was devildog1205, specifically this pic, and how he had the
EMT run an inch above the floor, so you won't see the bungees and most likely no need for protection at the bottom since its "within" the raised floor at the bottom.

Just some inspiration I am getting from all you guys that killed it. Hoping to do the same.16x22 shed goes up in May, so trying to get a good plan rolling for a sleek look.

Yes smw0720 - I see now... That's similar to how I did it, but devildog used a frame mounted to sides, while I used Eye Bolts screwed into 2x4's (and I have 4 studs mounted back to back, so that I had a good 6" of space to mount the eyebolts to. You can see inside my wall at this post:
Hi Everyone, I'm starting this post as a way to keep myself accountable. The tasks are huge, but not insurmountable as I'm having to do all my build work by myself. Contractors are either non-existent in this post-pandemic marketplace, or they have so much work they are 3 months out! I'll be posting up here as I make

And more of the completed eyebolts and screen mounting here:

Also, note that my EMT piping at the bottom is just below (by about 1") the actual turf. That way I have no worry about a low worm-burner (worm burner) hitting the EMT piping. You can see that in the last posting above.

          Good luck,
          -Brett
