6x5 meter sim.......space for a bar at the back??

    Hi All

Building a room which will liekly be 5m wide and 6m deep. Using GC3 for LM. I am aware this depth isn't ideal for having people over as there isn't much space at the back, but my question is is there space for a small "bar" area or am I best off just leaving it empty to allow furniture flexibility etc. Anyone else got a similar space?

    TIA

If you've got the screen 12" away from the back wall, and hit from 9' back from the screen, you've already lost 3 meters. It's going to be pretty snug.

My room is almost 10feet long and unless you are offset (i.e. opposite to the hitter) no one is comfortable hanging out in this space. I think you would be OK with having the bar built into the back wall but I am not sure you will want to have seating or folks hanging out there when playing. My two cents.

Note - there is a typo in this post which I cannot seem to fix. Room is 20 feet long not 10.

If the room is 16x20 (feet) there won’t be room for a standing area in the back. If you have a bar unit up against the wall simply as a drink rail then you will be fine.
