Anybody have projector Recommendation for a simulator in a shop? Enclosure is 10 x 17. I have lots of space in front of behind. I know I want 4K.

I did a golf sim build in a large shop with a similar screen size. The shop had a lot of ambient light so needed a high brightness ptojector and wanted 4k, so I installed the BenQ LK936ST. The "enclosure" was fairly deep to block some of the ambient light but the projector does a great job of keeping a good image. That projector is a popular 4k option for golf sims.
The 936ST is 5100 lumens and could work great for your setup but there is a benefit to even more lumens, but could be hard to find with 4k resolution or super expensive. It depends how deep your enclosure is and how much ambient light you have. If you're interested in the BenQ, I am a dealer and can get you a great price. -
5 foot deep enclosure. I know the 936 is awesome, but looking for other potential options for my setup, especially since I have to ability to go however far back (or forward if doing a rear -projector) as needed.Comment

What's your budget? If the projector is too far from the screen, the golfer can cast a shadow on the screen, so keep that in mind. With a 5ft deep enclosure, you might need more than 5000 lumens. Do you have a lot of windows and ambient light?Comment

Just ordered LK936ST, wanted 4K but excluded other options due to the great vertical/horizontal lens shift. Made mounting much easier.Comment
